Open A Group Home: Our Youth Need You

Posted by Janine Porter on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 Under: Group Home

We recently launched a social media campaign trying to get folks in our area to open a group home.  It will take a special person to open one but the benefits definitely outweigh the challenges. And yes, we acknowledge there will be challenges running a group home, especially for teens.

But we believe for a select few this opportunity can be great. Ask yourself, do you?

  • Want to own your own business
  • Want to work with older youth/teens
  • Want to make a difference
  • Have a passion for working with at-risk youth

There are over 10,000 children in foster caste with a overwhelming number of teens. And opening a group home is a way to make a difference and create a revenue stream for you and your family.
